Salary Range: $58,000 - $88,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze customer Request for Quotes (RFQs), specifications, and technical drawings.
• Calculate accurate material, labor, and overhead costs for manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to gather necessary information and validate estimates.
• Prepare and present detailed, professional, and competitive price quotations to customers.
• Maintain and update pricing databases, cost models, and quoting tools.
• Follow up on submitted quotes, negotiate terms, and address customer inquiries and revisions.
• Identify and implement improvements to the quoting process for efficiency and accuracy.

Recommended Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in a quoting, estimating, or sales support role within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills for cost calculation, margin analysis, and pricing.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel functions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in all quoting activities.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with advanced features or customization of ERP/CRM systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce).
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and margin analysis.
• Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) related to quoting or sales processes.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools for sales and quoting metrics.
