Salary Range: $51,000 - $78,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products.
• Utilize precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMMs to verify specifications.
• Document inspection results accurately, including identifying and reporting non-conformances.
• Ensure products adhere to engineering blueprints, specifications, and established quality standards.
• Initiate and track non-conformance reports (NCRs) for defective materials or products.
• Collaborate with production personnel to address and resolve quality issues efficiently.
• Maintain organized and comprehensive quality control records and documentation.

Recommended Qualifications

• Prior experience in a manufacturing quality inspection or quality control role.
• Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints, specifications, and technical documents.
• Strong understanding of quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and inspection methodologies.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills to identify and document defects.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) charting and analysis.
• Proficiency in programming and operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) or vision systems.
• Certification in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
