Salary Range: $46,000 - $66,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials, parts, and finished goods, verifying against purchase orders.
• Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments according to customer specifications and carrier requirements.
• Generate and maintain accurate shipping and receiving documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and inventory records.
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
• Update inventory management systems with accurate incoming and outgoing material data.
• Coordinate with carriers for timely pickups and deliveries, scheduling appointments as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping and receiving area.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment; valid certification required.
• Experience with inventory management software (e.g., ERP systems) and strong data entry skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail for verifying shipments, inspecting goods, and maintaining accurate records.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Familiarity with common shipping carrier procedures, documentation (BOLs, packing slips), and receiving protocols.

Bonus Qualifications

• Valid forklift operator certification.
• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Familiarity with international shipping documentation and customs regulations.
• Basic understanding of inventory control principles (e.g., cycle counting, FIFO).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data tracking and reporting.
