Salary Range: $88,000 - $134,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Charlotte seeking Six Sigma Black Belts who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex Six Sigma projects to reduce defects and improve process efficiency.
• Train and mentor Green Belts and other team members in Six Sigma methodologies and tools.
• Analyze manufacturing data to identify root causes of problems and develop data-driven solutions.
• Facilitate cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and sustain gains.
• Develop and implement control plans to ensure long-term stability of improved processes.
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making throughout the manufacturing organization.
• Present project findings and recommendations to senior management.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience leading and completing complex Six Sigma projects in a manufacturing environment.
• Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control methodologies, and statistical analysis techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and coach Green Belts and other team members on Six Sigma principles.
• Strong leadership and change management skills to drive process improvements and cultural shifts.
• Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) and data analysis tools.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and their integration with Six Sigma.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and methodologies.
• - Proven ability to mentor and develop Green Belts and other team members.
• - Strong understanding of statistical software packages beyond basic Minitab functions.
• - Experience with advanced quality tools such as Design of Experiments (DOE) or Response Surface Methodology (RSM).
• - Knowledge of specific manufacturing technologies relevant to the company's industry.
