Salary Range: $95,000 - $142,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage complex Six Sigma projects to reduce defects, improve efficiency, and enhance product quality.
  • Mentor and coach Green Belts and Yellow Belts in Six Sigma methodologies and tools.
  • Analyze manufacturing processes, identify root causes of problems, and develop data-driven solutions.
  • Facilitate cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and sustain gains.
  • Develop and deliver training on Six Sigma principles and tools to manufacturing personnel.
  • Track project progress, measure results, and report on key performance indicators to stakeholders.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making throughout the manufacturing operations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of Six Sigma initiatives with overall business goals.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Proven track record of successfully leading and completing complex Six Sigma projects in a manufacturing environment.
  • Extensive experience in applying a wide range of Six Sigma tools and methodologies (e.g., DMAIC, DMADV, Lean principles) to solve manufacturing problems.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including but not limited to, production planning, quality control, supply chain management, and operational efficiency.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and coach Green Belts and other team members on Six Sigma principles and project execution.
  • Excellent data analysis, statistical modeling, and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in statistical software.
  • Experience in change management and stakeholder engagement to drive process improvements and adoption of new methodologies.

Bonus Qualifications

  • - Experience with advanced statistical software beyond Minitab (e.g., R, Python with statistical libraries)
  • - Lean Manufacturing expertise and practical application experience
  • - Project management certification (e.g., PMP)
  • - Experience in a specific manufacturing sub-sector relevant to the company (e.g., automotive, aerospace, pharmaceutical)
  • - Strong change management and stakeholder engagement skills
