Salary Range: $77,000 - $110,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supplier quality assurance programs and procedures.
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Monitor and analyze supplier performance data, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Review and approve supplier quality documentation, including inspection reports and certificates of analysis.
• Lead and participate in new product introduction (NPI) activities, ensuring supplier readiness and capability.
• Manage supplier non-conformance processes, including material review board (MRB) activities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers to enhance product quality and reduce defects.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in supplier quality management, auditing, and corrective action processes within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and relevant industry standards.
• Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis (RCA) techniques, and problem-solving methodologies.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for effective supplier collaboration and issue resolution.
• Experience with quality tools such as FMEA, APQP, PPAP, and control plans.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• - Experience with AS9100 or ISO 13485 quality management systems
• - Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) software
• - Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles
