Salary Range: $81,000 - $114,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supplier quality assurance programs and procedures.
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Monitor supplier performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement.
• Investigate and resolve supplier-related quality issues and non-conformances.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., R&D, Production, Purchasing) to define and communicate supplier quality requirements.
• Review and approve supplier production part approval process (PPAP) documentation.
• Qualify new suppliers and manage the supplier qualification process.
• Facilitate supplier development initiatives to enhance their quality capabilities.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in supplier quality management, auditing, and development within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
• Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies (e.g., SPC, FMEA, APQP, PPAP, Root Cause Analysis).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with statistical analysis and data interpretation for quality improvement.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing methodologies
• - Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) software
• - Knowledge of APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process)
• - Certification in ASQ CQE (Certified Quality Engineer)
