Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of manufacturing processes for new products.
• Collaborate with R&D and design teams to ensure manufacturability (DFM/DFA) of new products.
• Define, procure, and validate new equipment, tooling, and fixtures required for NPI.
• Manage pilot production builds and facilitate the smooth transition from prototype to mass production.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process flows, and BOMs.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve technical manufacturing issues during NPI phases.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on NPI project learnings and best practices.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field).
• 3+ years of experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) or Manufacturing Engineering within a production environment.
• Proven expertise in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
• Strong background in manufacturing process development, optimization, and validation (e.g., IQ/OQ/PQ).
• Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and ability to interpret technical drawings.
• Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and cross-functional teams.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Experience with advanced simulation software (e.g., FEA, CFD)
• Proficiency in scripting or programming for automation (e.g., Python, VBA)
