Salary Range: $46,000 - $69,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, parts, and components against specifications and drawings.
- Utilize various precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM) to verify product conformance.
- Document inspection results accurately in quality management systems or designated logs.
- Identify and segregate non-conforming materials, initiating appropriate non-conformance reports (NCRs).
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and quality control plans to ensure compliance.
- Maintain organized inspection records and ensure material traceability.
- Communicate inspection findings and potential issues to quality engineering and procurement teams.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Demonstrated skill in using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, optical comparators).
- Working knowledge of quality control principles, including sampling plans (e.g., AQL) and non-conformance procedures.
- Ability to accurately document inspection results and maintain detailed records.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry, report generation, and navigating quality management systems.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience operating automated measurement equipment (e.g., CMM, vision systems).
- Familiarity with ERP or Quality Management System (QMS) software.
- Basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
- IPC certification (e.g., IPC-A-610) for electronics manufacturing.
