Salary Range: $59,000 - $93,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Design, fabricate, and repair complex tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures used in manufacturing processes.
• Interpret blueprints, CAD models, and technical specifications to create precise tooling.
• Operate and maintain a variety of machine tools, including lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC equipment.
• Perform precision machining operations to meet tight tolerances and exacting specifications.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with tooling and machinery, implementing effective repair solutions.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to optimize tool design and manufacturing processes.
• Conduct quality inspections of manufactured tooling and finished parts to ensure compliance with standards.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on projects.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Tool and Die Maker or in a similar precision machining role.
• Proficiency in operating manual and CNC machining equipment, including mills, lathes, and grinders.
• Strong understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T, and precision measurement techniques.
• Experience with tool and die design, repair, and maintenance.
• Knowledge of various metals and their machining properties.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a strong attention to detail.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Proficiency in CNC programming and operation for tool and die production.
• - Experience with advanced CAD/CAM software for design and simulation.
• - Knowledge of heat treatment processes for tooling.
• - Familiarity with metrology and advanced inspection techniques.
• - Experience with EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) processes.
