Salary Range: $59,000 - $93,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Design, fabricate, and repair complex tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures used in manufacturing processes.
- Interpret blueprints, CAD models, and technical specifications to create precise tooling.
- Operate and maintain a variety of machine tools, including lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC equipment.
- Perform precision machining operations to meet tight tolerances and exacting specifications.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with tooling and machinery, implementing effective repair solutions.
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to optimize tool design and manufacturing processes.
- Conduct quality inspections of manufactured tooling and finished parts to ensure compliance with standards.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on projects.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Tool and Die Maker or in a similar precision machining role.
- Proficiency in operating manual and CNC machining equipment, including mills, lathes, and grinders.
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T, and precision measurement techniques.
- Experience with tool and die design, repair, and maintenance.
- Knowledge of various metals and their machining properties.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a strong attention to detail.
Bonus Qualifications
- - Proficiency in CNC programming and operation for tool and die production.
- - Experience with advanced CAD/CAM software for design and simulation.
- - Knowledge of heat treatment processes for tooling.
- - Familiarity with metrology and advanced inspection techniques.
- - Experience with EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) processes.
