Salary Range: $71,000 - $110,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for all manufacturing personnel, covering safety, operational procedures, quality standards, and new equipment.
  • Identify training needs through performance reviews, skill gap analysis, and feedback from production supervisors.
  • Coordinate and schedule training sessions, ensuring minimal disruption to production schedules.
  • Source, develop, and maintain training materials, including manuals, presentations, videos, and hands-on exercises.
  • Track and report on training completion rates, effectiveness, and impact on key performance indicators.
  • Facilitate and deliver training sessions, or coordinate with internal subject matter experts and external trainers.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and company policies through targeted training initiatives.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to improve learning outcomes and operational efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in developing, implementing, and managing training programs within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and various instructional design methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and other training technologies.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and their integration into training initiatives.

Bonus Qualifications

  • - Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • - Familiarity with manufacturing process documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • - Certification in a relevant training methodology (e.g., CPTD, ATD).
  • - Experience in developing and implementing e-learning modules or digital training platforms.
  • - Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish) to support a diverse workforce.
