Salary Range: $73,000 - $112,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
  • Develop and implement efficient warehouse layout and inventory management systems to optimize space utilization and minimize stockouts or overstocking.
  • Manage and train warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, operational procedures, and performance standards.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures, including cycle counting, physical inventories, and reconciliation of discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics departments to ensure timely and accurate material flow.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company policies within the warehouse environment.
  • Monitor and manage warehouse budget, including labor costs, equipment maintenance, and supplies.
  • Implement and utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory, managing orders, and improving operational efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in warehouse operations management, with a focus on manufacturing environments.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles, including cycle counting, ABC analysis, and WMS implementation.
  • Demonstrated experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.

Bonus Qualifications

  • - Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • - Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS CSCP, CPIM).
  • - Familiarity with warehouse automation technologies (e.g., AGVs, AS/RS).
  • - Proven track record of successfully managing multiple warehouse locations.
  • - Experience with international shipping and customs regulations.
