Salary Range: $62,000 - $97,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, write, and edit CNC programs for lathe machines using CAM software and G-code.
- Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, cutting speeds, and feed rates based on material and part specifications.
- Create detailed setup sheets, work instructions, and tool lists for machine operators.
- Optimize existing programs to improve efficiency, reduce cycle times, and enhance part quality.
- Troubleshoot and debug CNC programs during initial run and production, identifying and resolving issues.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality control, and production teams to refine designs and manufacturing processes.
- Ensure all programs comply with safety regulations and quality control standards.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360) for generating CNC programs.
- Strong understanding and ability to write, modify, and optimize G-code and M-code.
- Ability to interpret complex engineering blueprints, including GD&T specifications.
- In-depth knowledge of cutting tools, materials, feeds, speeds, and various machining processes.
- Proven experience in setting up and operating CNC lathes for program validation and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and quality control procedures.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with multi-axis or mill-turn programming.
- Proficiency in a secondary CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks CAM, Fusion 360).
- Prior hands-on experience in CNC lathe setup and operation.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles or process optimization.
- Fixture or custom tooling design experience.
