Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate electrical control systems for manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex electrical and automation issues on production lines to minimize downtime.
• Manage electrical engineering projects, including upgrades, installations, and commissioning of new machinery.
• Ensure compliance of all electrical systems and installations with safety standards (e.g., NFPA 70E) and industry codes.
• Program, configure, and maintain PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and other industrial automation components.
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies for electrical infrastructure and machinery.
• Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to optimize electrical system performance and reliability.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and HMI development.
• Strong understanding of industrial control systems, including VFDs, servos, and sensors.
• Experience with power distribution systems, motor control, and electrical safety standards (e.g., NFPA 70E).
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis on complex manufacturing equipment.
• Familiarity with CAD software for electrical schematics and panel design.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with diverse PLC platforms and industrial automation systems.
• Familiarity with robotic systems (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB) and their integration into manufacturing processes.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Experience with industrial vision systems for quality control and process automation.
• Proficiency in SCADA/MES systems and data analytics for process optimization.
