Salary Range: $73,000 - $118,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain electrical control systems for manufacturing equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues in production machinery and facilities.
  • Develop and implement electrical safety procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Manage installation, commissioning, and upgrades of new electrical equipment and systems.
  • Optimize existing electrical infrastructure for improved efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Create and maintain detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Provide technical support for PLC programming, HMI development, and automation initiatives.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Proficiency in industrial control systems, including PLC programming (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens), HMI, and SCADA.
  • Strong understanding of industrial power distribution, motor control, and variable frequency drives (VFDs).
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems and machinery in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with electrical schematic design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN).
  • Knowledge of relevant electrical safety standards (e.g., NFPA 70E, OSHA) and compliance.
  • Experience with process instrumentation and sensor integration.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Proficiency with PLC/HMI programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens).
  • Experience with industrial robotics integration and programming.
  • Familiarity with SCADA or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
  • Knowledge of industrial networking protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET).
  • Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification/experience.
