Salary Range: $49,000 - $76,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues across office and production environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with specialized manufacturing software (e.g., MES, SCADA) and shop floor equipment.
  • Install, configure, and maintain workstations, printers, and mobile devices in administrative and factory settings.
  • Respond to and resolve help desk tickets efficiently, prioritizing issues impacting production operations.
  • Assist with network connectivity and basic server issues affecting manufacturing applications and data flow.
  • Document resolutions, create knowledge base articles, and maintain IT asset inventory for manufacturing equipment.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support new technology implementations and system upgrades.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a help desk or IT support role, including ticket management.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common desktop applications.
  • Experience supporting and troubleshooting IT hardware, including manufacturing-specific devices like barcode scanners or label printers.
  • Familiarity with ERP, MES, or other manufacturing-specific software systems.
  • Basic understanding of network troubleshooting and exposure to operational technology (OT) environments.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills with an ability to support users in a production setting.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience supporting manufacturing-specific applications (e.g., ERP, MES, CMMS).
  • Familiarity with operational technology (OT) environments or industrial control systems (e.g., PLCs, SCADA).
  • Experience with ruggedized hardware used in industrial settings (e.g., scanners, tablets, industrial PCs).
  • Understanding of IT safety protocols and practices specific to a manufacturing plant.
  • Ability to support users in a multi-shift, fast-paced manufacturing operation.
