Salary Range: $60,000 - $87,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily finishing operations to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Ensure all finished products consistently meet established quality standards and specifications.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate finishing department personnel, fostering a productive and skilled team.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Monitor and optimize the utilization of materials, equipment, and labor within the finishing department.
• Identify and troubleshoot production issues, implementing corrective actions promptly to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely product delivery.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing finishing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• In-depth knowledge of various finishing processes (e.g., painting, powder coating, assembly, polishing) and associated equipment.
• Proven ability to effectively lead, train, and motivate a production team to meet daily targets.
• Strong understanding and application of quality control standards, safety regulations, and continuous improvement principles.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions efficiently.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Proficiency in a major ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Plex)
• Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives in a finishing environment
• Familiarity with advanced automated finishing equipment programming or troubleshooting
