Salary Range: $117,000 - $166,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of manufacturing engineers and technicians.
• Oversee the planning and execution of engineering projects, including new product introduction and process improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes, reduce costs, and enhance quality.
• Manage departmental budgets, resource allocation, and capital expenditure requests.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, and supply chain to achieve operational excellence.
• Ensure all engineering activities comply with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
• Provide technical guidance and strategic direction for automation, tooling, and equipment development.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong technical background in manufacturing engineering disciplines (e.g., mechanical, electrical, industrial, process).
• Proven experience leading, mentoring, and developing engineering teams in a production environment.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean methodologies, and continuous improvement principles.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex engineering projects from concept to successful completion.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on operational efficiency and innovation.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
• Experience with advanced automation, robotics, or Industry 4.0 initiatives
• PMP or other formal project management certification
• Proficiency with advanced engineering simulation software (e.g., FEA, CFD)
• Demonstrated experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) in a manufacturing environment
