Salary Range: $117,000 - $166,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of manufacturing engineers and technicians.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of engineering projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
  • Ensure the implementation and adherence to safety standards, regulatory compliance, and quality control procedures within engineering operations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality assurance, and R&D teams to align engineering activities with business goals.
  • Manage departmental budgets, resource allocation, and capital expenditure for engineering projects.
  • Evaluate and implement new manufacturing technologies and methodologies to improve efficiency and capability.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Strong technical background in relevant engineering disciplines (e.g., mechanical, electrical, industrial) applicable to manufacturing.
  • Proven experience leading, mentoring, and developing engineering teams.
  • Demonstrated expertise in manufacturing processes, lean methodologies, and continuous improvement.
  • Solid project management skills, including scope, budget, and timeline management for engineering initiatives.
  • Ability to effectively solve complex technical and operational challenges within a manufacturing environment.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • PMP certification or advanced degree (e.g., MBA, M.S. in Engineering Management).
  • Familiarity with ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle) or PLM systems.
  • Knowledge of automation, robotics, or Industry 4.0 principles.
