Salary Range: $84,000 - $129,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget for manufacturing initiatives.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, production, supply chain, quality) to achieve project objectives.
  • Monitor project progress, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with manufacturing projects, such as supply chain disruptions or technical challenges.
  • Ensure all project activities comply with quality standards, safety regulations, and industry-specific requirements.
  • Manage communication and expectations with all project stakeholders, from shop floor to executive leadership.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing processes through project execution.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Experience managing full lifecycle projects within a manufacturing environment (e.g., NPI, capital expenditure, process improvement).
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and supply chain management.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and PM software tools.
  • Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and cross-functional teams in a production setting.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement principles (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) applied to manufacturing operations.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Proficiency with ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle) or PLM systems relevant to manufacturing.
  • Understanding of manufacturing automation, robotics, or advanced production technologies.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems or other industry-specific quality standards.
