Salary Range: $75,000 - $109,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control plans and procedures.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Perform internal and external audits of products, processes, and the quality management system.
  • Analyze quality data, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and enhance product reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and regulatory requirements.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) activities, ensuring design for quality and manufacturability.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing).
  • 3+ years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in quality tools such as FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, and MSA.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 or other relevant quality management system standards.
  • Demonstrated ability in root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions (e.g., 8D methodology).

Bonus Qualifications

  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification.
  • Proficiency with statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) or data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., medical devices, aerospace, automotive).
  • Demonstrated experience leading Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives.
