Salary Range: $42,000 - $65,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform in-process and final inspections of manufactured products.
  • Utilize precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM) to verify product specifications.
  • Document inspection results accurately and maintain comprehensive quality records.
  • Identify, isolate, and report non-conforming materials or products.
  • Assist in root cause analysis and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and quality specifications.
  • Calibrate and maintain inspection and test equipment according to established schedules.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Proficiency with precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) and ability to read blueprints/technical drawings.
  • Understanding of quality control principles, basic Statistical Process Control (SPC), and familiarity with ISO 9001 standards.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing quality assurance or control environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inspection and documentation.
  • High School Diploma or GED; Associate's degree in a technical field preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience operating CMMs or other automated metrology equipment.
  • Proficiency with Statistical Process Control (SPC) software (e.g., Minitab).
  • Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt certification.
  • Internal auditing experience for ISO 9001 or industry-specific standards.
