Salary Range: $100,000 - $147,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Portage that are seeking IT Managers. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the plant's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cybersecurity.
• Develop and implement IT strategies that support manufacturing operations and business objectives.
• Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering skill development and operational excellence.
• Ensure the reliability, security, and performance of manufacturing execution systems (MES) and related applications.
• Manage IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify technological needs and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Establish and maintain disaster recovery plans and business continuity protocols for critical IT systems.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT, with at least 2 years in a management or leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience managing and optimizing ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Plex) and MES solutions.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and experience implementing security measures in an industrial setting.
• Demonstrated ability to manage IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and hardware specific to manufacturing operations.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and their integration with manufacturing operations.
• Familiarity with industrial control systems (ICS) and operational technology (OT) security best practices.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Agile) with a focus on implementing IT solutions in a production environment.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and how IT can support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience with IoT solutions and data analytics for optimizing manufacturing processes.
