Training Manager / Coordinator | Plainwell, MI

Salary Range: $68,000 - $107,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Plainwell seeking Training Manager / Coordinators who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver technical training programs for manufacturing personnel.
• Coordinate external training providers and manage training schedules.
• Maintain accurate training records and track employee certifications.
• Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and recommend improvements.
• Create and update training materials, including manuals and job aids.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education, Human Resources, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in training development and delivery, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proven ability to design, implement, and evaluate effective training programs.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and training software.
