Salary Range: $74,000 - $113,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Battle Creek seeking Warehouse Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping.
• Develop and implement inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
• Manage and mentor a team of warehouse staff, including hiring, training, performance reviews, and scheduling.
• Optimize warehouse layout and processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and space utilization.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards within the warehouse.
• Collaborate with production, logistics, and sales teams to coordinate material flow and meet operational goals.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in warehouse management within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in inventory management systems (e.g., ERP, WMS) and lean manufacturing principles.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team of warehouse personnel.
• Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and safety best practices in a warehouse setting.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with automated warehouse systems (AS/RS, AGVs).
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Proficiency in a second language (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin).
• Experience with a WMS implementation or upgrade.
