Salary Range: $81,000 - $121,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Zeeland that are seeking Welding Engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize welding processes for new and existing products.
• Conduct root cause analysis for welding defects and implement corrective actions.
• Specify and procure welding equipment, consumables, and tooling.
• Create and maintain welding procedure specifications (WPS) and welder qualification records.
• Provide technical support and training to welding technicians and manufacturing personnel.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry codes, standards, and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to improve weldability and reduce costs.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Bonus Qualifications

• AWS CWI certification or ability to obtain within 12 months
• Experience with robotic welding systems and programming
• Familiarity with NDT methods (UT, MT, RT, PT) and interpretation
• Project management experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for fixture design and analysis
