We are seeking a skilled and experienced Periodontist to join a dental practice located in Leigh On Sea. As a Periodontist, you will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and preventing diseases and conditions of the gums and other structures surrounding the teeth.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct thorough examinations of patients' gums, teeth, and overall oral health to diagnose periodontal diseases and conditions.
2. Develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patients' needs, including scaling and root planing, periodontal surgery, and other interventions.
3. Perform surgical procedures such as gingival grafts, flap surgery, and dental implant placement to address advanced periodontal disease and restore oral health.
4. Provide non-surgical treatments, such as root surface debridement and administration of antimicrobial agents, to manage periodontal infections.
5. Collaborate closely with other members of the dental team, including general dentists, dental hygienists, and dental assistants, to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.

Requirements:

1. Completion of an accredited postgraduate program in periodontics or experience
2. GDC Registration
3. Excellent clinical skills and proficiency in performing periodontal surgeries and other advanced treatments.
4. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with a compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
5. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
