Dental Receptionist

 Job Description:

We are seeking a friendly and organised Dental Receptionist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk and creating a welcoming environment for all visitors.

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and manage their check-in and check-out processes.

Schedule appointments and manage the dental calendar efficiently.

Handle patient inquiries via phone, email, and in person, providing accurate information regarding services and procedures.

Maintain patient records, ensuring all information is up-to-date and confidential.

Process payments and manage billing inquiries with accuracy.

Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.

Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow and communication within the practice.

Skills

Strong administrative skills with a keen attention to detail.

Proficient in office software applications, including word processing and spreadsheet management.

Excellent organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly demeanour.

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Previous experience in a dental or medical office setting is advantageous but not essential.

Hours:

Monday: 8:30am 5:00pm

Tuesday: 8:30am 5:00pm

Wednesday: 8:30am 5:00pm

Thursday: 11:00am 7:30pm

Friday: 8:30am 5:00pm

At least one Saturday per month: 8:00am 4:00pm
