Chief Technical Officer (CTO)
We are hiring a Chief Technical Officer (CTO) to lead and manage all technical, engineering, and airport service operations across multiple stations in Pakistan. This is a key leadership position responsible for driving operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement in technical performance.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership

Lead technical and MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) operations across multiple airport stations

Oversee base maintenance, line maintenance, and component repair activities
-
Implement SOPs and Lean MRO practices to ensure high efficiency, reduce AOG (Aircraft on Ground) cases, and improve turnaround time (TAT)
Regulatory Compliance & Safety
-
Ensure full compliance with national (PCAA) and international (ICAO, EASA, FAA) aviation regulations
-
Lead internal and external audits, ensuring timely resolution of findings

Maintain a zero-penalty record and a 100% audit compliance score
Operational Readiness

Monitor technical readiness and infrastructure across all stations

Ensure optimal performance and maintenance of GSE (Ground Support Equipment)

Maintain high station readiness and GSE uptime
Team Management & Development

Lead and develop a team of licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (B1/B2) and technicians

Drive training, licensing, and ongoing upskilling initiatives
-
Foster high employee engagement and retention
Safety & Quality Assurance
-
Enforce rigorous safety standards and preventive maintenance schedules

Investigate incidents, lead root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions
-
Target zero major technical incidents or maintenance-related accidents
Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
-
Define and monitor KPIs for each operational station

Drive performance improvement through data analysis and targeted upgrades

Continuously enhance service quality and operational efficiency
Financial Oversight & Budget Management

Manage budgets, control costs, and optimize inventory and procurement processes
-
Reduce maintenance costs per aircraft and per man-hour
-
Improve inventory turnover and minimize obsolescence
Qualifications & Experience
-
Bachelor's or Masters degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
-
Minimum 15 years of experience in the aviation industry, including 5+ years in leadership roles

Strong understanding of Boeing/Airbus maintenance protocols

Familiarity with EASA Part 145, FAA CFRs, and PCAA CARs
-
Certified Safety Professional (CSP), IATA Safety Management, or similar certifications are preferred
