Job Title: Check-In Agent (Mandarin Speaker)
Location: Abu Dhabi International Airport
Department: Ground Operations
Reports to: Passenger Services Supervisor

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Check-In Agent who is fluent in Mandarin to join a busy ground services team based at Abu Dhabi International Airport. This role plays a key part in ensuring a seamless and welcoming airport experience for Mandarin-speaking passengers, from check-in through to boarding.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide professional check-in, boarding, and customer service to all passengers.

• Use airline departure control systems (DCS) to check in passengers, issue boarding passes, and manage baggage.

• Assist Mandarin-speaking passengers with flight-related queries, directions, and special assistance as needed.

• Ensure compliance with all safety, security, and operational procedures.

• Handle special service requests, including support for unaccompanied minors, passengers with reduced mobility, and VIP guests.

• Collaborate with airline staff, ground handling teams, and airport stakeholders to ensure efficient flight operations.

• Respond to customer concerns in a courteous and timely manner, escalating when necessary.

Candidate Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (additional qualifications in aviation or customer service are a plus).

• Fluent in Mandarin and English (spoken and written); knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in an airport or airline environment.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a high level of cultural awareness.

• Comfortable working in a shift-based environment, including weekends and public holidays.

• Proficiency with computer systems; familiarity with airline DCS platforms is desirable.
