SAP Functional Lead (EAM, PM, SM & PS)

We are supporting a leading Aviation organisation in Abu Dhabi with the recruitment of an experienced SAP Functional Lead. This strategic role is focused on driving the implementation, optimisation, and integration of SAPs Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Plant Maintenance (PM), Service Management (SM), and Project System (PS) modules within a S/4HANA environment.

The successful candidate will play a central role in delivering high-impact transformation projects across greenfield implementations and carve-outs, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver operational efficiency and system excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP PM, SM, EAM & PS implementations in S/4HANA from requirements gathering through to go-live and support

• Conduct business process workshops and fit-gap analyses using tools like Signavio or equivalent.
• Configure and support technical objects, maintenance plans, work orders, service notifications, and project structures.
• Support carve-out/M&A projects by ensuring smooth data migration and minimal disruption to operations.
• Collaborate with finance, supply chain, operations, and IT teams to ensure seamless module integration.
• Manage testing, training, and hypercare phases to ensure strong user adoption and system stability.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and SAP enhancement initiatives.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or a related technical field.

• 8+ years of hands-on SAP PM/EAM experience, including Service Management and Project System.

• Proven experience in at least 2 full SAP lifecycle implementations, including one greenfield S/4HANA project.

• Familiarity with Signavio or similar BPM tools.

• Experience supporting SAP projects in carve-out or M&A environments.

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to stakeholder engagement.
