Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and strategic IT leader to take on the role of Head of IT at a growing international airport. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the airports entire IT function, driving digital transformation, and ensuring seamless and secure IT operations across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the IT strategy in alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements
• Lead the implementation and optimisation of ERP systems and other critical IT platforms
• Oversee infrastructure management, network security, data integrity, and system availability
• Manage the IT department, ensuring strong leadership, mentorship, and performance of the team

• Handle IT budgeting, cost-benefit analysis, and procurement processes

• Coordinate vendor relationships and ensure service delivery aligns with SLAs

• Ensure compliance with IT policies, standards, and security frameworks

• Lead project planning and execution of IT initiatives

• Support continuous improvement and innovation in airport systems and operations

Candidate Profile:

• 10/15 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in a senior or Head of IT role
• Previous experience within the airport or aviation sector is highly preferred
• Strong background in strategic IT planning, infrastructure, cybersecurity, project management, and people leadership

• Proven experience in ERP implementation and integration

• Skilled in IT budgeting, vendor management, and stakeholder engagement

• Familiarity with firewall management, IT governance, and compliance

• Experience working in a smaller or regional airport is advantageous

• Must be willing to relocate (if applicable) and work in UAE

Mandatory Qualifications:

• ITIL Certification

• PMP or CCNP (Cisco) certifications are considered advantageous
