What success looks like in your first 6 months

  • Supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs to live with dignity, independence, and choice

  • Growing in confidence with moving and handling, including supporting wheelchair users with hoists
  • Taking part in community activities such as arts and crafts, karaoke, pub lunches, or cheering at a football match

About you

  • Experience as a Support Worker, Care Assistant, Carer, or Healthcare Assistant (essential)
  • Confidence supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, and challenging behaviour
  • Flexible and reliable, able to work a rolling rota including weekends
  • A caring, patient nature with a good sense of humour
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential due to service location and community access needs)
