Our client is currently hiring an experienced Head Sommelier for a high-end  restaurant in Dubai.

What will you do?

  • Have complete knowledge of all menu items offered
  • Ensure product quality and consistency are delivered at all times
  • Has impeccable knowledge of all products in the portfolio
  • Recommend food and wine pairings
  • Advising guests on wines based on their personal tastes and food choices
  • Has a good knowledge of all beverages beyond those stocked in the restaurant
  • Follow HACCP requirements

What are we looking for?

  • Certified sommelier or successfully completed equivalent of WSET Level 4 would be preferable
  • Solid knowledge of French and New World wines (South American and North American wines, in particular, would be an advantage)
  • Curious attitude, always learning and exploring new ideas
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in high-end, high-volume, award-winning restaurant/bar operations in Europe, the Middle East, or Asia
  • Fluency in either Russian, Arabic or Balkan languages would be an advantage.
