The Opportunity

Our Client is seeking an experienced Director, Product Management to join a global team responsible for driving the future of digital wallet solutions and tokenized payments.

In this role, you will lead product management and commercialization efforts for device-based wallet solutions across major global wallets, while also owning the end-to-end go-to-market strategy. You will work cross-functionally with engineering, product architecture, legal, compliance, regional teams, and commercial stakeholders to bring innovative wallet products from concept to launch.

This is a highly strategic leadership opportunity for someone with deep expertise in digital payments, tokenization, wallets, and secure device-based transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead product management and commercialization for device-based wallet solutions across major global wallet platforms
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to define product requirements and business needs
  • Collaborate closely with product architects and engineering teams to validate, optimize, and deliver technical flows
  • Work alongside project managers to ensure product delivery aligns with customer expectations and market timelines
  • Drive products from concept through launch with a strong focus on execution and market fit
  • Secure necessary approvals from legal, data privacy, compliance, and other relevant stakeholders
  • Partner with regional teams to shape and execute go-to-market strategies across different markets
  • Conduct competitive analysis and develop strong product positioning
  • Tailor solutions to regional and market-specific needs in partnership with local teams
  • Develop sales enablement materials, executive presentations, and customer-facing collateral
  • Work with legal teams to support commercial agreements and contracts
  • Collaborate with pricing teams to define pricing strategies aligned with market dynamics
  • Own and execute the full go-to-market strategy for device-based wallet products

What We're Looking For

  • 15+ years of experience in payments, banking, digital wallets, or closely related financial technology environments
  • Deep expertise in Secure Element (SE) integrations for device-based wallets, including NFC protocols and EMV tokenization
  • Strong strategic leadership experience in hardware-backed payment security, NFC communications, and global tokenization standards
  • Solid understanding of financial services, payment infrastructure, and the broader digital payments ecosystem
  • Experience managing, scaling, and commercializing payment products or services
  • Familiarity with ISO 8583 messaging and API-based integrations
  • Strong customer focus, business judgment, and commercial acumen
  • Proven ability to collaborate across global, cross-functional teams to deliver complex initiatives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • MBA preferred; technical or engineering background strongly valued
