About the Role: As a Retail Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing daily prescriptions

  • Providing patient counseling
  • Managing stock control and re-ordering
  • Handling over-the-counter sales
  • Addressing customer queries
  • Ensuring accurate data entry and minimizing errors
  • Collaborating with your manager to address customer concerns

Essential Requirements:

  • Recognized Pharmacy Technician or Dispensing Technician Qualification
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a busy retail pharmacy setting
  • Proficiency with McLernons Dispensing System
  • Accurate data entry skills and strong organizational abilities
  • Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)
  • Flexibility and willingness to work as a team player
  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills with patients and healthcare professionals
