About the company

We turn food waste into positive value on-site with our innovative food waste solution. We developed an on-site containerized anaerobic digester, called a Waste Transformer. It is placed next to companies or in communities that produce food waste. Biodegradable waste, such as kitchen waste and commercial waste, is used to create biogas and then converted into electricity and heat. The food waste itself turns into liquid natural fertilizer ready to replace (polluting) artificial fertilizers.

With clients from Africa to Latin America and from Europe to the Middle East, and a team from 8 different countries, our company is very international and embraces diversity.

What you'll be doing

As our QHSE Manager, you'll:

• Implement and check adequate quality assurance. You create logs and dashboards and execute regular checks both internally and at our production partners;
• Setup training curriculums for QHSE and train our team accordingly;
• Write and update our manuals;
• Document and enforce safe working practices, both upon assembly and during commissioning/operations;
• Track and improve our positive environmental impact, possibly even implementing a new revenue stream by turning the carbon we offset into carbon credits;
• Lead the ISO certification process for the company;
• Conduct HAZOP & Risk Assessments and implement the necessary risk/hazard reduction measures.

What we're looking for

• You completed your Bachelor's, specializing in QHSE. If you did not specialize in this field, then you gained in-depth QHSE experience and knowledge in another fashion;
• Ideally, you also have experience/education in a field related to engineering;
• You are highly independent and a self-starter;
• You have a valid driver's licence;
• You speak fluent English and preferably good Dutch.
