JOB SUMMARY:
The Agency is assisting Peace Diagnostic Imaging in the recruitment of Ultrasound Technologists to join their diagnostic imaging team.
This role is perfect for skilled and compassionate professionals seeking to work in a supportive private clinic environment with modern equipment and a strong focus on patient care. The successful candidate will perform high-quality ultrasound examinations, collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare staff, and contribute to accurate and timely diagnoses.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound examinations including general, obstetric, gynecologic, abdominal, vascular, and/or MSK and echocardiography depending on experience
- Accurately capture, document, and record ultrasound images and preliminary findings
- Ensure patient comfort, safety, and professionalism throughout procedures
- Maintain ultrasound equipment and adhere to safety and infection control protocols
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Manage workflow efficiently while maintaining a high standard of care and accuracy
REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
- Eligible for registration with the appropriate provincial regulatory body in Alberta
- Current professional certification with Sonography Canada and/or ARDMS
- Strong technical and diagnostic skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
