LOCATION: Grande Prairie, Alberta
COMPENSATION: $120,000-$180,000 annually (based on commission at full-time equivalency)

JOB SUMMARY:
The Agency is assisting Progressive Physiotherapy & Wellness in the recruitment of a Registered Physiotherapist (PT). As the largest multidisciplinary clinic in Northern Alberta, they provide a dynamic environment where collaboration is not just a buzzword—its a daily practice. We are seeking a passionate Physiotherapist, sometimes referred to as a Physical Therapist, who believes in hands-on, evidence-based care and wants to grow in an innovative, client-focused setting.

At Progressive Physiotherapy & Wellness, our approach prioritizes manual therapy first, combined with advanced technologies like Bioflex Photobiomodulation Laser Therapy and Shockwave Therapy to accelerate healing and optimize patient outcomes. Our multidisciplinary services include Physiotherapy, Canine Rehab, Kinesiology, Chiropractic, Massage Therapy, Acupuncture, Osteopathic Therapy, Structural Integration, Reflexology, Reiki, Nutrition, German New Medicine, Mind Body Therapy (MBT), Sound Therapy, Yoga, and other holistic therapies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide individualized physiotherapy treatment plans tailored to patients physical and medical needs
  • Refer patients to other disciplines within the clinic when appropriate
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized treatment area
  • Ensure strict confidentiality of all patient records and personal information
  • Chart clearly and efficiently using the Jane App online system
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and continued learning
  • Collaborate effectively with therapists across multiple disciplines

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Active registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta (CPTA)
  • Strong belief in hands-on, evidence-based care
  • Excellent clinical reasoning and patient assessment skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, client-focused care
