Elderly Caregiver – Home Care

Location: UAE (Dubai / Abu Dhabi / Northern Emirates)

Work Location: Client’s Private Residence

About the Role

We are seeking compassionate and experienced Elderly Caregivers to provide dedicated home-based care for elderly clients in the UAE. The role involves supporting daily living activities, ensuring comfort and safety, and delivering respectful, culturally sensitive care within a private home setting.

This position is ideal for individuals with a strong sense of responsibility, patience, and a genuine passion for elderly care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Support safe mobility, transfers, and fall prevention within the home
• Prepare and assist with meals in line with dietary requirements
• Offer medication reminders as per family or medical instructions (non-clinical)
• Monitor the client’s physical and emotional well-being and report concerns promptly
• Provide companionship and emotional reassurance
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the client’s living space
• Accompany clients to medical appointments or short outings if required
• Respect family routines, privacy, and cultural values at all times

Requirements

• Previous experience as an elderly caregiver, home aide, or nurse assistant 
• Experience working in private homes is highly preferred
• Compassionate, patient, and trustworthy personality
• Basic understanding of elderly health, mobility assistance, and safety practices
• Ability to communicate clearly in English (Arabic or additional languages are an advantage)
• Physically fit to manage caregiving duties
• Willingness to work live-in or shift-based schedules, as required
• Caregiving certification or healthcare training is an advantage
