Early Years Educator - Preschool, Midleton, Co. Cork

Are you a qualified Early Years Educator already based in the Midleton area, looking for a change from a large, impersonal setting? We are recruiting on behalf of a small, welcoming childcare service in Midleton for a Preschool Educator to join their close-knit team in a calm setting on the edge of town, where children truly come first.

About the Service

This is a small, welcoming childcare provider based in Midleton, made up of three connected services - Creche, Preschool and School Age - so staff have real opportunities to broaden their experience, develop new skills and grow within the company over time. The atmosphere is warm and family-like, with strong friendships and genuine teamwork among staff.

The Role

• Caring for children aged 3-6 years in the Preschool room
• Full-time, permanent contract
• Opening hours are 7:30am - 6:30pm
• Approximately 39 hours per week
• Closed for 2 weeks at Christmas (in line with the school calendar), Good Friday, and bank holidays
• You will work as a practitioner within the room team

• Minimum QQI Level 5 in Early Learning & Care / Childcare - Level 7 and above preferred
• Ideally already living locally or in the Midleton area, as accommodation in the area is limited
