Non-CDL Delivery & Installation Driver – Home Daily | No Weekends | Avg $1,050/Wk

We're hiring Non-CDL Delivery & Installation Drivers for a full-time local delivery position based in Poway, California, serving the greater San Diego area.

This opportunity offers daily home time, a Monday–Friday schedule, paid training, and competitive weekly earnings.

Drivers deliver and assist with the installation of appliances, furniture, exercise equipment, patio furniture, and other large household products at residential and commercial locations.

This is a physically active position that involves loading, unloading, moving, assembling, and installing products. Candidates should be comfortable working with customers, handling large items, and using moving equipment safely.

Two driver openings are currently available.

Pay & Compensation

• Average Weekly Earnings: $1,050–$1,150
• Average Annual Earnings: Approximately $60,000
• Mileage Pay: $0.38–$0.44 per mile
• Stop Pay: $7.12 per stop
• Cross-Docking Pay: $20 per hour for qualifying work
• Dispatch Pay: $25 per qualifying day
• Training Pay: $20 per hour
• Holiday Pay: $140 per eligible holiday
• Additional activity-based compensation for qualifying deliveries and multi-family site unloading

Actual earnings depend on assigned routes, mileage, deliveries, and qualifying activities. Average earnings are estimates, not guaranteed compensation.

Schedule & Home Time

• Home Daily
• Monday through Friday schedule
• Start times between 5:00 AM and 7:00 AM
• Approximately 8–10 hour shifts
• Saturday work may be available during busy periods
• Local and surrounding-area deliveries within approximately 250 miles of San Diego
• Work hours may vary depending on customer demand

Job Responsibilities

• Operate a non-CDL straight truck for local deliveries.
• Deliver appliances, furniture, exercise equipment, and patio furniture.
• Load and unload products safely.
• Assist with product assembly and installation at customer locations.
• Complete multiple deliveries throughout the workday.
• Deliver to homes, businesses, and construction sites.
• Navigate stairs, including deliveries requiring up to five flights.
• Use dollies, pallet jacks, liftgates, ramps, and installation tools.
• Pick up returned merchandise when assigned.
• Inspect products for damage and report delivery concerns.
• Provide professional customer service during deliveries and installations.
• Perform required vehicle inspections.
• Follow company safety procedures and applicable transportation regulations.

Physical Requirements

This position involves regular physical activity and heavy-item handling.

• Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to maneuver items weighing up to 600 pounds using appropriate equipment and team assistance.
• Must be comfortable moving appliances and furniture.
• Must be able to navigate stairs while handling deliveries safely.
• Must be able to crouch and use ladders as required.
• Must be willing to assist with product assembly and installation.
• Must follow safe lifting and equipment-handling procedures.

Driver Requirements

• Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle operated.
• No CDL required.
• No previous commercial truck driving experience required.
• Must reside within approximately 45 miles of Poway, CA 92064.
• Must be available for early morning shifts.
• Must be comfortable with physically demanding delivery work.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Must be willing to move larger items using team assistance and equipment.
• Must have experience or familiarity with dollies, pallet jacks, liftgates, ramps, and installation tools.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English for safety and customer service duties.
• Steel-toe boots required.
• Must be willing to complete the required training program.
• Must meet applicable driver qualification and safety requirements.
• SAP drivers are not eligible for this position.

Paid Training

New hires receive approximately 3–4 weeks of paid training, including:

• Safe straight-truck operation
• Defensive driving
• Product handling and installation
• Furniture and appliance assembly
• Loading and unloading procedures
• Customer service
• Applicable DOT regulations and safety practices

Paid onsite orientation is provided.
