Class A CDL Driver – Local (Home Daily | $1,600 Weekly Avg.| Trainees Welcomed))

We are seeking Class A CDL Drivers for a local position based in Johnstown, NY. This role offers daily home time, consistent freight, and steady weekly earnings.

Drivers will operate in a slip seat operation, running dedicated lanes between Johnstown and Albany, NY, with reliable miles and frequent loads.

What You'll Do

• Run local routes between Johnstown & Albany, NY
• Operate in a slip seat environment (5–6 days/week)
• Handle no-touch freight with live unloads
• Average ~2,000 miles per week
• Complete multiple stops per route with consistent freight volume

Pay & Compensation

• Average Weekly Pay: $1,600
• Mileage-based pay structure
• Short Haul Pay: $25 (under 50 miles)
• Stop Pay: $10 first stop, $15 each additional stop

Home Time & Schedule

• Home daily
• Flexible shifts available (day & night)
• Weekend and holiday work required

Equipment & Operation

• Slip seat operation (shared trucks)
• Dry van freight
• No-touch freight with live unloads

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Open to trainees and experienced drivers
• Must live within 65 miles of Johnstown, NY (12095)
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
