About the job HR Officer
We are looking for a reliable and organised HR Officer to manage HR and administration duties at our construction site in Gweru. The ideal person must be able to work with workers, supervisors, and management in a fast‑moving environment.
Key Duties
- Manage daily HR administration for site workers
- Keep accurate attendance registers and timesheets
- Handle worker onboarding, contracts, and personnel files
- Assist with NEC compliance and statutory documentation
- Support payroll preparation (hours, allowances, overtime)
- Coordinate disciplinary issues and report to Head Office
- Maintain site records, notices, and communication
- Assist with general office administration on site
Requirements
- Degree in HR or Equivalent
- At least 2 years' experience in HR (construction industry experience an advantage)
- Strong communication and record‑keeping skills
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Must be based in Gweru or able to relocate
