Database Administrator (DBA)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to manage and maintain our organization's databases, ensuring their security, integrity, and availability. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with database design, performance tuning, backup and recovery strategies, and troubleshooting. As a DBA, you will work closely with other IT professionals to optimize database operations and provide data management solutions that align with the business goals.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with a variety of database systems (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.)

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in SQL and database query optimization.
• Experience with database backup and recovery tools.
• Familiarity with database clustering, replication, and high availability setups.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
