Position Overview:
As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will play a critical role in protecting the company's digital assets. You will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents, analyzing vulnerabilities, implementing security measures, and ensuring compliance with security policies and standards. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining a proactive security posture and minimizing risk.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst, Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks, such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, ArcSight, ELK Stack).
- Knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, and other security technologies.
- Familiarity with vulnerability assessment tools (e.g., Nessus, OpenVAS).
- Understanding of networking protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, SSL/TLS).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
