Job Summary:

The Financial Analyst will play a key role in analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing actionable insights to support budgeting, forecasting, and investment decisions. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and has a strong understanding of financial modeling, market trends, and data interpretation within the financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret financial data to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to forecast company performance, assess risks, and evaluate investment opportunities.
  • Prepare regular financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct variance analysis to compare actuals with forecasts and budgets and identify key business drivers.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Monitor financial performance metrics and industry trends to identify areas for improvement or growth.
  • Assist in preparing materials for investors, board meetings, and financial reviews.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency in all reporting and analytics.
  • Participate in special projects, cost optimization studies, and profitability reviews.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven 2-3 years' experience as a Financial Analyst, Investment Analyst, or in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial modeling tools or BI software (e.g., Power BI) is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and key financial ratios.
  • Familiarity with the finance industry and financial products/services is highly desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
