Job Title: User Acceptance Test Manager Temenos Upgrade (R25)
Duration: Contract/Full-Time
Location: Kingston, Jamaica - Hybrid
Job Summary:
The User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Test Manager will be responsible for leading the planning, coordination and execution of user acceptance for upgrade of the Temenos T24 core banking platform from Release 14 to Release 25. This role is critical to ensure that the upgraded banking system meet all business, functional and regulatory requirements. The role involves developing test strategies and plans, managing test case design and execution, ensuring traceability to business requirements, and coordinating with cross-functional teams including business units, IT, and vendors. The UAT Manager will ensure test environments are properly configured, oversee test data preparation, track and resolve defects, and provide clear reporting to stakeholders. Additionally, the role includes validating data integrity, transaction accuracy, access controls, and compliance processes. The incumbent will drive user engagement, support testers throughout the process, ensure documentation for audit readiness, and lead the business sign-off process to enable a successful system deployment.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent qualification from a recognized tertiary institution.
- 5+ years’ experience in a Test Manager role, preferably in Core Banking Systems.
- Proven experience with Temenos T24, specifically Release 14 and/or Release 25.
- Strong understanding of Banking Operations, Products (e.g., Lending, Deposits, Payments), and technical architecture in T24.
- Experience leading testing in core upgrades, data migration, and interfaces (e.g., with channels, GL, reporting).
Strong knowledge of test and defect management tools
ISTQB Certification or equivalent is required.
- Experience working with Temenos implementation or upgrade partners.
- Relevant certifications, such as ITIL4 and Scrum Master, are highly desirable.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience working with offshore/onshore teams and third-party vendors.
- Previous experience with regulatory reporting validation and reconciliation testing.
