Job Title: Accountant

Location: Caribbean Region/Fully Remote
Role Summary:
We seek a highly motivated, energetic, passionate accounting and administration candidate to manage all financial transactions, from payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. Also responsible for handling monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Functions:
- Generating invoices and POS daily
- Responsible for payment and entering bills in QuickBooks software.
- Monitoring bank and credit card activities and updating general ledger accordingly, particularly receivable records.
- Keeping abreast with bank reconciliations.
- Preparing monthly journals (eg. Depreciation, Interest income, interest expense (loans/credit card) etc.
- Maintenance of payable and receivable schedules, especially those under special arrangement.
- Preparation of monthly payroll schedule
- Daily follow up with suppliers and customers where necessary.
- Report to and liaise with Accounting and Tax Consultant and other external partners
- Generation of weekly cash flow statements, monthly management reports, receivables report, payable report, monthly budget, sales commission report and engineering project revenue reports
- Generation of Pay slips
- Financial modelling and analytics functions as and when requested by the management team.
- Management and distribution of information within the office and ordering stationery.
- Answering incoming calls, taking messages, and greeting clients.
- File documents and CVs in Dropbox for easy retrieval.
- Provide support to the Management Team
Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelors degree in accounting and administration, ACCA Level II - III or related career qualifications, especially in accounting and administration services is preferred.
- 2 to 4 years work experience in an Accountant role (Mid-Level) or in a similar capacity
- Experience using industry-leading, accounting and administration tools/software.

Administrative Functions:
Management and distribution of information within the office and ordering stationery.
Answering incoming calls, taking messages, and greeting clients.
Maintaining all HR and Employees files.
File documents and CVs in Dropbox for easy retrieval.
Provide support to the Management Team - CEO, HR, Business Development and Finance.
Supervision and oversight of Finance and admin team and also outsource accounting partner/s.
Provide Adhoc support out of your working hours with us (between 8am to 5pm GMT -5).
Qualifications/Experience:
Bachelors degree in accounting and administration, ACCA Level II - III or related career qualifications, especially in accounting and administration services is preferred.
2 to 4 years work experience in an Accountant role (Mid-Level) or in a similar capacity
Experience using industry-leading, accounting and administration tools/software.
