About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Engineer with strong experience in both Manual and Automation Testing using Java Selenium. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise across web, mobile, API, and database testing along with a solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

This role requires strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced Agile environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories to identify test scenarios and test coverage
• Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for web, mobile, and API applications
• Develop, maintain, and execute automation test scripts using Java Selenium
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman and RestAssured
• Validate data integrity through database testing using SQL queries
• Conduct mobile application testing for Android/iOS platforms including functional and regression testing
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects using defect management tools
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups
• Ensure adherence to QA processes, standards, and testing best practices
• Prepare and provide clear test status reports and quality metrics

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance
• Strong hands-on experience in Manual Testing
• Expertise in Automation Testing using Java and Selenium
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
• Hands-on experience in API testing using Postman or RestAssured
• Strong knowledge of Database Testing using SQL
• Experience in Mobile Testing (Native or Hybrid Apps)
• Good understanding of Performance Testing and Security Testing concepts
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation frameworks
• Exposure to Jira, Confluence, Git, or similar tools
• Experience working in enterprise Agile delivery environments
